We took a few weeks off from MediMobile Weekly Rounds while our author was out of the office, but we are back in business with new features for both our mobile app and our web portal. Read on to see what’s new with MediMobile in July.

iPhone, iPad & Android Updates

The biggest news is that we’ve updated our mobile app across all platforms, both Apple and Android devices. That means that you’ll be able to update your iPhone, iPad and Android smartphones and tablets. The updates include:

  • An update to enable insurance details
  • Update to our medication tool
  • A message counter on the menu to highlight new messages

Make sure you update the MediMobile app on your smartphone or tablet to ensure that you can take advantage of the latest update. And, for iPhone and iPad users, if you haven’t updated to iOS 7 yet, you are missing out. There are tons of great new features for MediMobile that are only available on iOS 7, including our patient handoff tool. Update your mobile device today!

MediMobile Web Portal Updates

We’ve also updated the MediMobile Web Portal as well. Not only have we added a new report, but there are a few new features to make MediMobile even easier for providers to use.

Added a Date of Birth search tool to the Patient Create Screen – This lets you use the patient’s DOB as a filter to check and make sure that they are not already in the system, and speeds up the creation process.

Added a Date to Handoff History – This includes a date and time with every patient handoff so providers have the information they need when dealing with a new patient.

Added a New Report: Workload Summary – This report returns RVS (Relative Value Scale) and visits summary calculations sorted by provider.

These features and report are already available on MediMobile. If you haven’t yet, log in to check them out.

Quote for the Week
